Chris Degelia,

General Manager

 

Mr. Degelia joined InnerCity FiberNet in 2013 from the Zayo Group.  Mr. Degelia has spent the past 16 years working in the Telecommunications Industry where he has held various sales, leadership, and corporate development positions with Zayo, AboveNet, OnFiber Communications-Qwest, and MCI.  Before his telecommunications career, Mr. Degelia worked in federal, and local law enforcement.  Mr. Degelia attended El Centro College where he studied Criminal Justice.

Jason Pope,

Vice President of Engineering and Operations

 

Mr. Pope joined InnerCity FiberNet in 2011 from DataBank, where he was a founding partner and served as Vice President of Operations. There he was responsible for management of the data center product and services along with all technical personnel.
Prior to joining DataBank, Mr. Pope served as Director of Operations at LayerOne, a carrier-neutral colocation facility. He was responsible for the data center facilities located in three states. He has also held various operational and management positions at two other startup companies.

Mr. Pope served ten years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Naval Aviator. He participated in multiple combat deployments in support of operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mr. Pope graduated from Texas A&M University and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
